A correct date can change the meaning of a comparison. If you spot a mistake in a photograph caption, role, film year, award or other factual detail, write to contact@actors.today.
Please include the address of the page, the detail you believe is wrong and the information that would correct it. A link to an original caption, film credit, festival record or award result is particularly helpful. You do not need to send personal documents or private information about a performer.
What happens to a correction
The editorial team checks the point against the available evidence. A confirmed factual error is corrected in the affected article or caption. A material change may receive a short clarification where it helps readers understand what changed. Updating a photograph to a newer appearance is different from correcting a date that was wrong.
A difference of opinion about a performance is not automatically a factual error. We can nevertheless clarify the distinction between a documented event and an editorial interpretation when a passage makes that distinction difficult to see. We also welcome reports of broken links or a photograph that does not display correctly.
For an image ownership or attribution request, identify the exact image and your connection to it. We consider specific requests about the affected material and may correct the credit, replace the image or remove it as appropriate. A request does not require publishing private correspondence.
